Books For Inner-City Kids
Tragedy struck when I was shot in my face at the age of 14 years old. I was left paralyzed, unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Instead of succumbing to the bitterness of life, I decided to turn my test into a testimony. With the hopes of saving other youths from the same tragedy, I began mentoring children and advocating against gun violence.
I wrote my autobiography to shed light on the dangers of “street life” and to help prevent our youth from falling prey to gun violence as I did.
By reaching out to our inner city youth about the reality of bad choices, my goal is to steer them in the right path and have them become mentors as well.
I worked hard on my book, to help paint a visual about my childhood and my poor choices growing up. I would like to ask for your support to help get my story to children that cannot afford to purchase my book. The goal is to provide some free books as I go out into the community as an advocate and mentor. Thank you in advance for your donations.
